No Respect...
Brady and Moss pull out of Pro Bowl a day after loss to Giants in Super Bowl
By The Associated Press
Is this really a suprise? Both are as credible as their coach. I had hoped when Moss was with the Raiders, he'd end up being a good aquisition, but as history shows, he sucked... Came back and had a fabulous season this year, but disapeared in the playoffs. Now he, and Brady (Puss) are skipping the Pro Bowl (which, having lived in Hawaii and gone to a couple of Pro Bowls, is a major deal to fans) because of some minor little ankle injuries. More like their bruised little egos. I guess it's no suprise...

How 'bout them Giants!
Just like I said all along (hoping to see the Patriots lose), if the Giants defense can get to Brady and keep the Patriots from running up the score, they have a chance. Well, lo and behold, the Giants did it! Woot! Poor Patriots... Ended up 18 and DOH... Ba ha ha ha... Belichick is a sore LOSER and a wuss... Way to go Eli!

Super Bowl
Well, the Super Bowl is upon us and I really wanted neither team to be there (opting for a Green Bay vs Indy matchup). So, that being said, more than anything, I want to see the Giants beat the Patriots to avoid the undefeated season. Go GIANTS!

Crazy Football!
Wow, what a weekend for football! Two major upsets on Sunday lead to a clear and definitive answer as to who will be in the Super Bowl (IMHO). I am saying Green Bay and New England at this point (from my original wantings of Seattle and Indy). I would love to see Favre destroy the Pats in the SB for sure! What a way that would be to go out! In any event, San Diego upsetting the Colts was huge and then to see the Giants take it to Dallas (both were at home too). It made for some real great football! Sorry Seattle, but you know how I feel on the subject, Hasselbeck isn't a good enough QB to lead a team to a Super Bowl win (it's obviously been shown he can get them there). Go Green Bay!
On another note, I have been reading that the Raiders could take McFadden (sp?) with their choice in next years draft. That would be awesome. Nothing against Fargas, but to have a player of the Big Macs ability coupled with JaMarcus would be most cool! Might even be able to push the Raiders back into some sense of a decent team, heh...

2007 Freaks and Geeks Champion
After a tight final, I managed to take the Championship in my Freaks and Geeks league, 176-143. That's 2 Championships in 3 years (2005 and 2007). Congrats to all and sorry Paladins, your team peaked way too early (he was 11-0 before he lost a game and ended up 12-2 and in 4th place in the end).

Hate the Pats
Gah, it was a good game anyways, but the Pats beat the Colts. I am SO tired of New England. Hopefully someone will beat them soon.

Colts vs. Pats
Well, I am going to buck most people by saying that I feel the Colts will beat the Pats with a score of 24-21 tomorrow. We'll see what happens. Regardless it should prove to be an exciting game and the MOST substantial game played in the NFL regular season for some time.

Are you ready for some football?
I am! Football season starts tomorrow night with a bang! Colts vs. Saints, should be a total barn burner and has great implications on most of my fantasy teams (I either have Manning, Harrison, Wayne, or Addai on most of my teams).

Fantasy Football season
Well, once again, it is Fantasy Football (FF) season. I am in 5 leagues this year and 2 I think I have pretty strong teams. Drafted my yearly "Geeks and Freaks" team "Stormbringer" and did pretty well. I am real strong in the QB/WR arena having picked up Peyton Manning and Marvin Harrison (great duo). as well as Chad Johnson. My RBs are a little more suspect, but always possible to have a breakout (Edge and Brandon Jacobs). My typical starting lineup will be:
QB - Peyton Manning
WR - Marvin Harrison
WR - Chad Johnson
RB - Edgerrin James
RB - Brandon Jacobs
WR/RB - Santonio Holmes
TE - Dallas Clark
D - Chicago
K - Shayne Graham
My other decent team has the Bulger/Holt/Bruce combo and LJ for an RB, so I may have a decent chence there too. We'll see!
