OCD!

Woot! Diana bought me a Fulltone OCD pedal for my birthday. Those baby's rock! If you've ever heard Robin Trower, you know the sound. Think classic rock, Zeppelin, AC/DC, Bad Company, etc. Full on Marshall sizzle. Can't wait to get it. I am actually thinking of running my vintage Distortion + either before or after the OCD for a bit more 'sing'. We'll see... Anyways, stoked to be getting an OCD!

Guitar Responses

I have had really good comments made about my new guitar, so I thought I'd collect a few from various sources and post them.

From the Unofficial Warmoth site:
"Very cool from top to bottom. The canary and bengel flame work really well together, especially with the single 12th fret inlay. The big reverse headstock almost give it that Washburn N4 sorta look. Looks great."

"I like the whole thing! the neck is especially sexy! love the clean look of the single inlay."

"That´s sweet, has some similarities with what i have in mind for an upcoming Strat project. Very warm looking. Congrats with a very nice build."

"Well, Storm, that is truly unique, You are not going to run into anyone else with anything like that! I might add it is pretty bad-ass."

From GuitarGeek:
"Very nice indeed! If you put that together yourself, you've made a good job of it."

"That's a sweet looking axe man. I love the top."

Thanks for all the great comments out there. Now that I have had the time to play it some, I have to admint, it is by far the best playing guitar I have ever played or owned. Canarywood is awesome!

Drum Tracks - Take 1

I met another guitar player in the area and we have very similar musical likes, so we've decided to do some recording. We've chosen to do a couple of UFO songs first as a warm up - Shoot Shoot, and Doctor Doctor. Tonight we are going to put drum tracks down with a drummer friend. Should be a lot of fun and not take too long...
