FF Week 2

I did real well the 2nd week of FF. My main Yahoo Team (Freaks and Geeks League) set a new league high point total with 250.03 points, led by Chad Johnson's 55 points and the Chicago Defense with 63 points. Overall the whole team did very well. In my Fanball league I also won, but by a much narrower margin. At this point I am 2-0 in my FB league and 1-1 in Yahoo...

Warner Robbins

Well, another trip to Warner Robbins done. Gah, I really hate going to that place and from the outcome of this latest trip, I guess it could be the last time we go there. We'll see...

FF

Well, Fantasy Football started real good this week, with Peyton having a great showing on Thursday, BUT, my potential season got hit when Brandon Jacobs went down yesterday with some sort of ailment. That is going to hit me hard on many teams I have, so hopefully it will be short lived as I need his projected TD count. Oh well, such is the world of FF, LOL...

SuiteDreams Framework 3.0

Tomorrow is my big day to try to convince some of the powers that be, that we need a Framework to develop all our applications in. I have been working on the SuiteDreams Framework 3.0 for about 2 months now and am about 75-80% complete (or ready for it's first usages). I have put together a nice PowerPoint presentation and will walk the atendees through the why we need a Framework, why we need THIS Framework, and where we can go with it in the future. I hope it turns out to be a nice step in my professional career.

Samurai

I started training with the Samurai Sword this weekend. First, I have used some clips I have found on the net, but have ordered a DVD on Samurai forms and katas, as well as a DVD on using the steel Sai. So far it is great exercise, I am looking forward to learning more. Here is a great clip of Tameshigiri (the Japanese art of target test cutting):

Are you ready for some football?

I am! Football season starts tomorrow night with a bang! Colts vs. Saints, should be a total barn burner and has great implications on most of my fantasy teams (I either have Manning, Harrison, Wayne, or Addai on most of my teams).

Outcasts

Well, we, the Outcasts got our asses handed to us last night. No one on our team showed to bowl (figuratively) and our opponents came fully loaded, led by Gene Crozier's 269 to start the night. The only highlight, well, lowlight for us was, Tim bowled a 98 (below the magic Mendoza Line), LOL... Oh well, there's always next week...
