Drum Tracks - 2

Well, we pulled off the drum tracks for Shoot Shoot and Doctor Doctor. All went very well and right as planned. I really like the RĂ˜DE overheads I have, they have really nice sizzle to them. Equally impressed with the set of Audix i5s and the D6 I have as well. Overall, things went superb. I am so looking forward to the next few pieces as we lay down the rest of the rythym, guitars and vocals. We are talking about working on some originals soon as well, I should sit down and scratch out some more of the things I have to offer. Maybe I will plan all of them out while at Robins next week.

Education Musings

So, I have been thinking lately about finishing up my Computer Science degree. I am checking to see how much and what of my previous college experience will transfer and see what I need to take to finish. It's really too bad you can't take a test on some of this stuff since I have been doing it for 12 years. There's definately a lot to learn, but I figure a bit should be covered, but more than likely not. The need "experience" electives or something. Anyways, getting the degree would certainly help me in many ways.

Drum Tracks - Take 1

I met another guitar player in the area and we have very similar musical likes, so we've decided to do some recording. We've chosen to do a couple of UFO songs first as a warm up - Shoot Shoot, and Doctor Doctor. Tonight we are going to put drum tracks down with a drummer friend. Should be a lot of fun and not take too long...

Blue Angels 2007

It's Blue Angels weekend this weekend. Not sure if we'll make it this year or not, the weather is not looking all that favorable. Will post some pics if we do go.

ColdFusion Man Updates

Some may have noticed (others may not) that my ColdFusionMan site is pretty much no longer. I got tired of paying for something I didn't have the time to update, so now I am just using the email service and all my personal domains will forward to here. So this is where you'll find out about anything I have going on in either my ColdFusion Man world, my Baheeba world, or now my Crab Island world. ALL existing emails still work... Peace...

Web Client Software Factory

We've been exploring the Web Client Software Factory lately and what a nice framework to work in. The whole concept of Dependancy Injection is very cool and the idea of a self aware application is fantastic! I really look forward to future releases of this. Watch it, it will take off...

Serve Up!

Our server is up and running! It was kind of a battle at times, but for the most part it's all in place. We'll post some demo areas when they are ready.

Queensryche - Mindcrime at the Moore

I just received this DVD from the guys in QR and WOW, it is a great DVD. They did a fabulous show last year for the Fan Club. This DVD is highly recommended if you are a QR fan! Mike Stone has come a long way since their last DVD and actually does Chris DeGarmo's parts of Mindcrime I very well.
